Intentional delay of aftercoming siblings in multiple gestation is an infrequent occurrence in obstetrics. Several case reports have document the feasibility of an expectant management. In our case, the oriental treatment has been shown to prolong pregnancy. We experienced an unavoidable delivery of a nonviable first twin after lower flow of umbilical artery at 28 weeks of gestation. Then we reported the case that a patient got the oriental medical treatments for easy birth. A healthy 2695gm male was delivered by cesarean section at 36 weeks¡¯ of gestation in 2003. 11 25. There was no complication after delivery, therefore oriental medical treatment is significant. We present this case in detail and discussed with respect to the aggressive approach undertaken to prolong gestation.
